Program: For those who know and love Austria’s top red grape, Blaufränkisch can be many different things: elegant, powerful, fruity, spicy, savory, glou glou, easy-drinking, age worthy.
We’ve gathered together a group of Burgenland’s top Blaufränkisch growers: Markus Altenburg, Kolfok, Nittnaus, and Heinrich. Join us for a conversation on this fascinating and complex grape, how it differs in different terroir and different growers’ hands, and what the future of our favorite Austrian red wine might be.

What is it: Big Little Fair is a small fair for natural New York wines and spirits, launching its first edition this year. Bringing together 10-15 New York producers of sustainable, low-intervention ferments, Big Little Fair provides the industry with a unique opportunity to taste wines and spirits made locally, and connect with producers in a salon-style setting. Open to trade only. Entry fee is $10 at the door with prior RSVP, or $15 day-of.
