We’ve spent a day in the Southern Czech town of Znojmo for the first edition of Nachbarn festival, a day’s event envisaged as a gathering of winegrowers from the area around the both sides of the Czech-Austrian border only. Organized by the Bottled Alive team, it spotlit the growers that, roughly put, share the terroir, but, more than that- share the culture of the Sudeten region, despite (or in spite?) of the historical political divide.
